This has still been an issue for me and nothing seems to be helping. Nobody seems to have a firm answer or one that works. I have lost some very important notes. They simply disappear right before my eyes.
Can anyone help? Is anyone at Apple going to fix this problem? If you look for online help, this seems to be a big issue for a lot of iPad users.
Not sure if you know, but there should be a folder in your email called "notes". All your notes, even the ones that disappeared should be in there. There is no solution for the disappearing notes as far as I know.
Thank you! I have been to two Apple stores, even bought retrieval software and you are the only answer that helped me find my long lost Notes. There they were. There is still no explanation as to why they disappear but at least I know where to find them. Thanks again.
Check to see if your Yahoo, Ymail, or Gmail account has notes turned on. Sometimes Yahoo and Gmail mail accounts will eat the notes from iCloud and the Notes app and save them into a Notes folder in the mail account.
Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tap the Gmail or Yahoo accounts to see if Notes is turned on. If it is turned on for Yahoo or Gmail, turn it off and they'll stop disappearing
Yep, that's the workaround for the time being. Thanks.
