I have a the very first macbook Pro that came out in summer 2009, i was wondering:
1) Whether or not it was USB 3.0 compatible.
2) My Hard drive is completely filled and now I have trouble starting it up, can i buy a bigger Internal Hard Drive and can i replace the current one with an SSD.
3) If so where can i found one.

It can not be upgraded to USB 3 but any USB 3 device is backward compatible and will work in USB 2 ports.
You can replace your internal drive with any drive you like. A bigger standard hard drive or a SSD. Note that SSDs are way more expensive then standard drives of the same size.
Go to the OWC website to see what compatible HDDs and SSD are avilable for your MBP. Other good sources are Newegg.com and Amazon.com. Any 2.5" diameter, 9.5 mm thick SATA drive will be compatible.
