Is this happening with one particular network or with all?

Try this:

Reboot ipad by pressing and holding both the home and sleep/wake buttons at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go. Then try to connect to network.

Go to settings, turn wifi off. Toggle airplane mode on/off. Make sure bluetooth is off. Turn on wif (airplane mode off). Try to connect.

Go to settings/genreral/reset/reset network settings. Then try to connect to network.

If its your home router, then reboot router by unplugging for 5-10min. (do this while you're resetting network settings).

Yes my wifi is working fine now! I did the reset the network in the settings! Tried restarting/shutting down! Also did the turn on and off wifi! I even restored my ipad which i found it didn't work! Then. Tried turning on the airplane mode for a few secends and turning it back off! After all these steps i finally got the wifi working! But i did try these steps a few times! Im not sure what really got my wifi to work on my IPAD 2! I have done some research and tried all the steps! While doing this i found some other people with ipads have contacted apple and they are aware of the problem! We just have to wait for the fix! So it's apple's issue, not our wifi connection.. I know there are a few people suggesting to fix the wirelessfirmware and such but its not the issue and ive read that has not worked for those who did do this!

and you believe everything you read on the Internet?

Good luck with the head in the sand approach.

Completely false. Many users have fixed WiFi problems by updating the firmware in their WiFi routers. This is a standard troubleshoting step and is recommended by Apple.

Some things to try first:

1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)

• Launch Settings app

• Tap on Wi-Fi

• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Excuse me there! Umm why don't you come up with the reason why this is happening? Until you contacted apple and here them say its there problem which they won't say it is but say we are aware of the problem! My wireless has been working fine up until this update so until you have these same issue's don't bother replying! Apple won't willing say its a flaw in there update there not *******'s but if they want there products to sell they should fix the problem! Nobody wants to buy a pricy ipad to find out oh opps the wifi won't work.... And if you do read its not just me who'ls had this very same problem,.. I do my research before even before i try to fix any device im using... Which all my other devices worked fine on my wifi so yes indeed it is the new update that is causing the probelm doesn't take a scientist to figure that out! End off disscussion with you because you are one of those people who love messing with people or pointing out what you think is right!
