I see that I'm not alone with Bluetooth problem...
I just bought an iPhone 5 and cannot communicate anymore for pictures transfer with my
MacBook Pro Snow Leopard 10.6.8
Both Apple products ! I had no problems before with my old MOTOROLA V8...
Anybody with a solution or is it just that Apple Marketing does not want us to by pass iCloud business ?
I hope that many people will post BLUETOOTH complains so that iOS 6.1.2 will get an update from APPLE

File transfer, by Bluetooth, has never been supported on any iPhone.
And you think it's normal that any old cheap mobile device can do that an iPhone 5 cannot ?
I already regret having purchased the latest Apple device with bluetooth limitation without any technical reason...

Perfectly normal as both wjosten and I (in the other thread) have explained to you that this has never been an iOS feature. There are several other ways of transferring pictures, almost all of which are faster than BT.
There is a reason, by the way. It's called "security".
And, as I said in my previous repsonse, posting complaints here will accomplish nothing useful. Use the feedback link I've already provided.

Apple has not broken any promises. Bluetooth is included. They never, ever promised you file transfer support.

But bluetooth included in APPLE iPhone 5 is like buying a car with 3 wheels only !
You may think in the future that Apple is not as stupid not to improve a product just because they never did it before ?

Do you reallize that BT is used for many more things than just file transfer? Do you also realize Apple didn't include the file transfer BT protocol for security and legal reasons? Do you realize that Apple included BT on all iPhones for many uses such as headphones, headsets, keyboards, data connection, car audio, etc?
If you don't like it, return it and buy something else.

What security and legal reasons when at home you just want to transfer IPhone 5 any of your pictures to PC or MAC by BLUETOOTH like any old mobile did before (see motorola V8) ?
Not all smartphones support FTP and Apple never has. And I dont' know of any device that supports every profile that is available under Bluetooth. As I said in another thread you can use WiFi to sync photos which is much more efficient.
You can send feedback all you want but unless FTP profile is changed to allow what type of files that can be transferred, i.e., photos can be transferred but music files cannot (and this is not going to happen) then Apple will continue to exclude FTP. Apple has sound corporate reasons not to include FTP. If this feature is vital to you there are competitors who include the feature.
