MacBook Speakers

Hello,

A slightly unusual question, I am changing from a Macbook Pro to a BlackBook. Before the MBP I had an iBook G4, and since the move to MBP, have really noticed a dramatic improvement in volume and sound quality from the speakers.

Is anyone able to comment on the quality of the sound on the new MB? Especially in comparison to the MBP?

I also have a Macbook and think that the extremely low volume of the speakers is unacceptable. The niceties of the multimedia setup (remote control etc.) are worthless if the volume is not loud enough to be more than 3 feet away from your machine.

I just got my new Macbook today - while I love it overall the speaker volume *****. I had it all the way up and could barely hear a DVD playing. I'll have to test it some more to know for sure but that's the only thing that I'm not happy with.
