There is no separate Exchange client on the iPad and hence no version, per se. For what purpose do you think you need to know a version number?
Regards.
I just want to know is there is any differences bwetween Exchange client on iPhone and iPad
Again, there is no "Exchange client" as such. If you're referring to the Mail, Contacts and Calendar apps, other than the screen size used there are no differences I know of presuming the same version of iOS on both devices.
It would help us provide more useful advice if you'll tell us what your concern is or what problem you're experiencing.
Regards.
Thanks for info paw, I'm observing some strange behavior with Exchange ActiveSync calendars & EAS policies on both iPhone5(6.1.2) & iPad3(6.1.2).
Eg: I have a recurring meeting for 5 days, If I edit the 1st day of the meeting by changing the time or location or adding notes and save it for only this event, now again if I edit the second day of the meeting and delete the meeting as "Delete all future Events" all the recurrence meeting is getting deleted, but the 1st day meeting is creating again.
The above issue is reproducing on iPad3 but not on iPhone5. There are many like this kind of issue with iOS 6.1.2
Hi Paw
Anyupdate update or info regarding my issue ...😐
I don't have any solid ideas. I'd first suggest that you remove the account in the iPad 3 and re-enter. Since the problem doesn't occur on the iPhone, unless there's a subtle difference between the iOS code on the iPhone and IPad, one would think it should work correctly on both devices and hence may be a problem with a corrupted cache or settings file on the iPad which removing the account should clear. If that doesn't help, a restart of the iPad or a restore would be the next thing I'd try.
I've seen other reports of anomalies with Exchange calendar events and iOS devices, but there are so many variables, including such basics as which version of Exchange server is being used, that I don't know of any commonality or reliable solution. Perhaps someone else here will have ideas, though since no one else has responded it would seem that no one else has any solution they feel confident in either.
Regards.
