Yes, I am seeing this same message. additionally, i am given a mime attachment, which I am not opening.

I hope Apple is working on this. I use this email address for my business and my personal communication and i receive important secured documents daily.

This is happening on my icloud and my me addresses.

i just checked apple support statuses on services and they are not reporting any issues with any of their programs, services, or devices.

Do they ever read these posts?

I agree that it seems like Apple is unaware of the problem or not acknowledging it. I went to the iCloud support page where I found a link to the status of Apple's services (i.e. which ones are being updated or having problems). It doesn't show any problems with iCloud mail, which is pretty frustrating.

Even getting it when receiving email notifications from Apple Discussions!

I just called Apple support to let them know that many people were experiencing the same issue and they told me they would inform their main tech department. At least now they're working on the problem.

I just got off phone with them and they kept insisting it was on my end. They tried to tell me it was a local issue. When I asked if they read these posts, there was a long pause...

Let's see how long before we get a resolution.

Add me to the list. I am also getting these error messages with every email. Which is pretty annoying.

It's so annoying when technical support people act that way, but the guy I talked to from support seemed pretty helpful. When I told him about this support thread he at least understood it was an issue on their side. He send a report of the issue to their main technical support with info about the error email, what it said, etc, so if it makes you feel any better at least somebody acknowledged the problem.

I guess we'll see though...

Same exact issue.

Having the same issue - started this morning at around 3AM ET. I get the message but then the actual email comes through. This is occurring with any email, apparently, even from other mac, icloud accounts.

I have to believe that Apple has noticed this and is doing something.
