Email. Problem during delivery processing Reason: Error in sieve filter: Notify mailto:recipient is not a valid address

Having same problem, started yesterday, continues today

Problem persists for me at 18:20 gmt, live in FL. I'm now also getting a phantom e- mail in my in box with no subject, no sender and a date of 12/31/69. Additionally, my iPad is now " pinging" when it receives a new inbound email, my mail icon registers another email but my inbox has stopped showing any new emails after the aforementioned 12/31/69 email.

Any news on Apple's end?

I just spoke to Apple Support and files a case. They said they're getting numerous reports about the problem and they're addressing it now. The problem will be resolved soon.

Toronto, Ontario. Canada: This same problem started this morning (March 7, 2013) with my email as well. I have received so many of these messages this morning and they appear to be directly related to each email I send from my mac mail account.

Chalk up another one with this issue

I'm fine, but my Wifes's account (which used to be an additional to mine, but is now stand alone) has been glitching all day.

As far as I can see the errors are only going to the recipient - I don't see any error coming back to me when I run a test to her account and the email is received at her end.

Pretty annoying though

I live in Toronto and just got off the phone with Apple Canada and they are aware of the issue and it is being worked on. Apparently it is a 'iCloud' issue that began at 2 AM EST today, however some people reported yesterday that it was an issue. Regardless, it is being worked on, but not resolved as yet.

Houston we have a problem.... yes, I am having the same problem here in Texas.

Call me cynical but there is mention of Oracle in the error message - a Java problem maybe that caused the internal apple mail exploit?

Same issue! Why isnt apple showing an issue on their support page. Frustrating!

fyi: my e-mail errors started this a.m. like many others, but my daughter isn't getting any. She updated the 1st of the last 2 java updates and i updated both. is this common for anyother users?
