Connect Apple 30inch display to a Laptop via VGA

Hi - I am trying to connect Apple 30inch display to a Laptop via VGA. What cables do i need to get the best resolution?

Apple 30inch Cinema Display-OTHER, Windows 7

VGA is analog. The Apple display needs digital video. There are some converters but they won't run the 30"

at full resolution.

Hi - Laptop does have HDMI connection and USB. Can I do anything with those?

You could use a HDMI to DVI adapter, but it will not give full resolution.
