Does the retardation TNT have shown in getting this Macbook to me know no bounds? I just got this email from Apple:

We are happy to advise you that your order is now in transit. We are however, experiencing a shipping delay of 1 working day in addition to the delivery time quoted in your dispatch notification e-mail.

Please tell me this is a joke! It's already taken a week to move out of China, and now they are pusing back their longest delivery estimate!

TNT seem to think it will arrive tomorrow, so i don't know where Apple came by the estimate they emailed me, but it'd better be wrong.

I got the exact same email, but TNT says it will definately arrive tomorrow.
I don't know who should I believe

Urgh! I've got the same email too... Apple will need to start considering their choice of delivery company in future... never had problems with UPS or DHL!

As mentioned, TNT has claimed to me this morning it will be here tomorrow SO MAYBE Apple is just covering their back?

Must remember to stay positive Capetani, Tetmin and Walter... it will be here on Wednesday... it will be here on Wednesday!

hi my macbook was in the arnhem hub yesterday and it arrived in the uk today at 2.00 pm the macbook has not moved and when i rang tnt they said that i would be delivered by the 5th june, i dont think it will take nearly a week to arrive to me when its already in the uk. I too am hoping for a wednesday or thursday delivery does ay one think that this is possible, i live in wakefield by the way near leeds.

what i am worried about though is what if from northampton it goes to a local depot such as bradford and then gets sent out from there. hopefully if that happens it goes there tonight and be put on vans to be delivered tommorrow. I jope you recieve yours very soon hopefullt tommorrow, ive watched this thread grow for the past week lol. This will be my first mac computer so coming from windows machines will be a bit daunting for me, i hope its a easy transition, and i hope my macbook is in perfect working order

That doesn't sound good for us. If it's taken TNT this long to get it from China to Europe, then i don't see them being organised enough to get it from Arnhem to our doorsteps in less than 24 hours.

As sad as this makes me, it's probably going to come on Thursday or Friday! Appauling service, truly the worst delivery attempt i have ever seen. TNT managed to hit the worst Apple delivery estimate and then extend it an extra day or two.

Nintylink, i hope yours will arrive tomorrow, but i don't think we'll be so lucky. The thing that really annoys me is that TNT said it would DEFINITELY be here tomorrow!

i hope it will be here tommorrow, good luck in you reciving yours where is yours. oh and just to clarify i paid for mine on the 17th of may it is now the 30th so i also belive that the delivery of the macbooks has been appauling, but i do understand that it is a new product and that many people are wanting one, i hope i am lucky and it can travel to a local hub during the night and be delivered sometime tommorrow what is your opinion, i really doubt it will take until the 5th june which is what is says on the tracking info page
