In some crazy set of circumstances i too am from york uni, waiting for a macbook. Small world eh?

how did you guys get these shipping info
I order mine two days ago,,,and have not see anything on the apple site,

I used the referances numbers off the apple "order status" bit and used them on the tnt site (in my case .co.uk), you can also freephone TNT when you start seeing all the "potential delay" bits, then they will kindly inform you that the tracking site is lying about the continent your macbook is on.

A bunch of t *ers... it has gone back to the depot and I phone them up and can't trace it.

To all those people awaiting delivery in the UK whose Macbooks are currently in Holland with a "Potential Connection Delay", I've just rung TNT and the nice guy I spoke to was adament they would be out for delivery on Monday.

Bloody well hope so. I've just been into town to pick up Rough Guide to OS X. Seems nicely written, and it isn't patronising to read coming from an XP background. Should mean the number of stupid questions I'll be asking here will be substantially reduced!

Yippee! It finally arrived at 7.11pm and I'm really happy with it!

Hope everyone else waiting don't go through the same TNT chaos as me!

Mine arrived in Northampton today at lunchtime, if i don;t get it tomorrow im gonna be real angry. I'm also in Halifax, Younger Court

Unlikely. That's what my order status page said, too--and I got normal TNT shipping. Sorry to disappoint you.

Apparently my MacBook isn't even being delivered by TNT so I have no idea where it is ... dispatched 24 May; estimated delivery 5 June (though this is now been put back to 7 June at the earliest) ... (sigh) The waiting game continues.

I second that. Fast Ship (EMEA)is merely a nice sounding name for what is essentially a very poor shipping service.
