TNT Delivery Status not aviable

I checked my tracking just after typing that message:

Northampton........ The plane must have flow right over my house. It's about the same distance from my house to Northampton as it is from my house to Arhem BLAH!

I'm pretty gutted that you're all in Northampton already while I'm stuck in godforsaken Arnhem. I blazed trails with my prediction that UK orders would be arriving in Northampton today. And what thanks do I get?

OK, for all the people with Pudong/Amsterdam 'linehaul delays', here's what the delivery people told me on the phone a few minutes ago: The plane didn't leave Pudong because it was grounded by tech staff due to some technical problems. They had to wait till another plane arrived, unload and reload the stuff. But the MBs are fine, the plane plane didn't crash or something like that. Basically the entire shipment is being delayed by 1-2 days. Apple has already started sending delay notices.

The shipment should arrive in Europe (Amsterdam or Anhem) by tomorrow or thursday

I called TNT too -- they said this shipment won't arrive to my doorstep till May 29. That's probably them being on the safe side.

Mine's in Northampton, and they still tell me it'll be here on the 30th. So, 7days to go ~250miles? Hmmm.

Do they have to go through customs once they're in the UK, or is that handled in The Netherlands? I only ask because I once shipped a laptop from the US to the UK and that was stuck in customs for days.

it will not show until TNT has had the package for more than 24 hours. FedEx also does this in the US.

As I understand it Quilty, once it has landed in Amsterdam it has cleared customs because it's coming from within the EU.

As for the package's not arriving until the 30th all I can say is WHAT!

And mine is still stuck in Amsterdam, **** it! Hardly 5-7 days delivery time.

I'm a bit miffed. Qulity and Anzxious and mine all seemed to be in the same shipment, however mine doesn't seem to have arrived in Northampton.

How long does it take for the tnt site to update. Quilty's was logged in at 15:50 and Anxzious at 14something. So I'm hoping mine is there pleeeeease

So great news, I had the MBP with the whine problem, hopefully my macbook doesn't whine, the keyboard it great and the display also very nice !
