Can I add more than 4 GB of RAM to my Early 2008 24-Inch iMac?
I have an Early 2008 24" iMac with 4 GB of RAM (2 × 2 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM). I'm running Lion, which is a 64-bit OS, so shouldn't I be able to add more than the Apple-defined RAM maximum of 4GB? I'm thinking 6 – 8 GB is where I'd rather be.
Thanks for your help.
