Two part question.
A) Is there no way to create a group to the contact list on your IPad or iPhone?
B) After adding a contact on my IPad, is there no way to include that contact in an existing group?
A. Not without a third party app like MailShot or Group Email!
B. Not on the iPad itself. You can add contacts to groups in iCloud.com on a computer.
Thanks, makes IOS a little less work friendly. Mind you I should have expected a similar response given the poor operation and function of the groups I do have on my contact list. No select all function? Wonder why Apple has left this aspect of their built in IOS contact operation so antiquated?

I wish that I could answer that for you, but I will do for you what I do for everyone else that I have discussed this with .... Send feedback to Apple. I would hope at some point they will be inclined to include this functionality to iOS devices.

Hi. If your Contacts are sync'd with iCloud, you can do this by logging in to icloud.com in a browser. On iPad or iPhone, you need to request the desktop site.
