Songs in multiple play lists, and setting start and stop times.

I recently made a POWER HOUR playlist on my itunes, I took 60 songs and set start and stop times for 60 seconds for each song. When I try and play the songs outside of the POWER HOUR playlist and in their respective Playlist, such as the ROCK playlist and PARTY playlist. It still plays the short versions there, where I want the full length version to play.

How do I have it so the full version plays in the playlists outside of the POWER HOUR playlist.

You can't change the lengt of a song in an indificule playlist, sadly enough.

You can only change the lengt of the song, and so will it in all the other playlist, maybe it is an idea to copy all your songs that you have in your 1hour long playlist and put them in the other playlists?

It will take some time, but it will fix your problem

HIghlight the track, and use the command File > Create New Version.

Find the new version in your library (if you sort by Date Added it will be the newest thing). Right-click it, Get Info. On the Info tab, add the phrase "short version" to the title. On the Options tab, set the Start and Stop times. OK out.

Use the short version in your Power Hour playlist, and keep the original version for everything else.
