How to delete books in iBooks?

Here's some more helpful information. After completing the steps taken by Ayano, the purchased ibooks will still show up on your iPhone. Here's how i permanently made them disappear. Keep in mind, this would be the second step. While on the ibooks app for your iPhone, first make a new collection ( i called X). 2nd, hit the select tab on the top right corner where you will move the purchased books in the collection file you have made. Final step, now you can highlight the purchased books and click the delete option. To verify they have disappeared for good. Tap on "All Books", and then show iCloud books. The should be gone permanently now. Hope this helps.

You can't permanently delete any iTunes purchase, you can only hide them from the cloud (and, as long as they remain in the store and you don't move countries, unhide them)
