why ipad mini cannot sync to itune??

Could you provide a little more info?

Are you using a pc or mac and what version OS? What version itunes?

What happens when you connect your ipad to the computer, do you see it under devices in itunes? What happens when you press the sync button?

What version iOS is on your ipad?

Are you using iTunes version 11.x? Is this a new problem or have you ever synced?

First charge ipad via a wall outlet for at least an hour or two. Then reboot computer and try connecting ipad to itunes again.

I'm having trouble getting mine to sync anything as well. iTunes has been updated to 11.0.2, iPad mini is sitting on 6.1.2. It shows how much space it will hold, but when it goes to sync it doesn't put anything into the iPad. I have power cycled both devices. (I'm on a macbook running 10.7.5).

Are you signed into the correct Apple ID on the iPad - the same one that you are using on the Mac? You cannot sync any content at all? Do you have the content selected to sync?

Didn't work. I read through the article, followed the “Manually manage music and videos” instructions. All it gives me are dashed circles. Still nothing on the iPad in videos or movies.

You never explained about the little swirling circles, that is very important to know. It helps if you provide complete information, otherwise you just keep people guessing and force them into asking you a bunch of questions.

Put the iPad into DFU mode and force iTunes to restore the iPad. Then setup the iPad as a new iPad.

DFU MODE STEPS

1. Hold the Power Button (3 secs)
2. Continue holding the power button and also hold the home button (15 secs)
3. Release the power button while continuing to hold the home button (10 secs)
4. Your device should prompt with the "Connect to iTunes Screen"

Sorry had to run out last night after my post. I have a couple of screenshots to attach.
Attached are the dashed circles that I get. They don't rotate or spin, they are stationary. but they don't show that it synced. I'll trying restoring it and see what happens. Would it be alright to backup and restore from an iTunes backup?

******FIXED******

I restored the iPad without putting on my iCloud or iTunes backup back on the iPad then went to sync stuff back on. It's now syncing with iTunes again, we'll see what happens when I put all my info back into the device.
