my ipod says "charging is not supported with this accessory" when i plug in the charge. it wont charge my ipod but i can still sync music into my ipod.. please help..

Can sync but cannot charge.
The USB port probably cannot supply enough current to charge your iPod.
so what do i do?
Charge your iPod with a 5W charger. Connect it to the wall socket.
i tried that. but it didnt work
Have you tried another cable and charger?
Try using the iPhone charger.
i tried using another ipod charger and it works...i think something is up with the wire thing..
but it works but cant charge...
So it's either your cable or charger.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Inspect the dock connector for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Reset all settings

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
