Is Stuffit 10.0.2 stuffed full of compatability issues with MacBook Pro???

Just bought the new MBP 17" last night. Did a full migration. Open all Apps to make sure they worked. For the most part all was well. HOWEVER, when I tried using stuffit expander, I kept getting the error message "The application Stuffit Expander quit unexpectedly."

So now I do a full uninstall and re-download the program again from the website. NOTHING I do gets this program to work. Am I the only one??? Does someone have a solution for me.
