I used Ringtone maker and saved the file but I cannot get the ringtone to appear under "tones." I hate this new iTunes!

I used Ringtone maker and save the file but I cannot figure out how to get the new ringtone to appear in my "tones" tab. I hate this new iTunes! This version does not seem to have a ringtones under preferences and it does not allow you to drag and drop the file. HELP! I've already wasted 3 hours on this!
