Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I am an audio professional who is ready to upgrade his Mac. Originally, there were many rumors that Apple would update the Mac Pro this month (March 2013) however, I have not been able to find any details. Is this going to be the case? Or is there going to be nothing until June?
PLEASE HELP! I need to do something right away, but will make things work for a couple of weeks or even a month if I have to....

Well, I decided on the 27" Quad iMac... Will try an wait on upgrading my Macbook Pro until April or May and make a choice if need be at that time... I'll post again after I have everything up and running for a few weeks.
That is good news and congratulations. Definitely post your experience and any questions about upgrading the MBP when the time comes.
To my understanding, the problem with Imac's has to do with the display in terms getting true and accurate colors when printing. As a digital photographer, that is the only concern I have. I would welcome other thoughts.

EDIT:
I used a 20" iMac for years as a professional. I was in Advertising, and did copy and design. It was amazing. And 6 years later, with increased RAM, it still is a real workhorse. I love it!
