Music in the Cloud not appearing in iTunes on my Mac

I have iTunes Match and I am running the latest version of iTunes on the latest version of Mac OSX on my iMac. I have tried several trouble shooting steps to resolve my issue, which started when some files didn't appear to be syncing to the cloud properly. I then turned off Match and turned it on again in an effort to reboot the Match syncing service... suddenly all of my music in the cloud is not displaying. I checked my iPhone and all is still there in the cloud, but not showing on my Mac. I have also tried going in account setting and deauthorizing/reauthorizing the computer. I just keep seeing cloud icon next to Music with scrolling grey bars -- it's been that way for over 24 hours. If I add a new CD to iCloud it tells me I have 8000+ songs in the cloud, but they are still not showing (and yes, I made sure my view settings are not that Music in the Cloud is hidden).

Should I uninstall iTunes and reinstall? Please help!

I'm running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) on my primary Macbook Pro so updating to 10.8.3 is not an option. Though, after reading the solution from VWRichardsonI decided to create a new Mac administrator account & I authorized my iTunes & Match accounts on it. Just as mentioned in the previous post, it did create a new library with all my tracks available in the cloud. I then closed iTunes & logged off of that newly created Mac account. I logged into my Macbook with my older account & out of curiosity re-openned iTunes normally (NOT pressing the option key to create a new library, out of fear of losing all of my custom playlists). Low & behold all of my tracks finally showed up as available in the cloud. They were no longer greyed out or missing. I haven't logged back in on my other Macbook (w/ Lion) but I suspect that it too should be back to normal. Seems like one machine threw iTunes Match out of whack on all my machines & creating a new library on one machine fixed it for all the others. Weird. I wonder if the recent Java security update had something to do with it? I remember installing that update on Monday or Tuesday & then all of a sudden Match was dead on Tuesday night.
