Install snow leopard on new 2013, iMac?

I'm about to return the new 27" iMac i got less than a month ago. But before I do, it occurred to me that maybe I could keep it if I gave up on trying to use iCloud and Mt. Lion, and instead returned to Snow Leopard, on this new iMac. Can anyone tell me if this is a possibility. It came, of course, with mt lion installed. However, I do have a purchased version of SL, purchased separately a couple of years ago. Any way to use that on this new iMac?

It's not the hardware I dislike, it's the combination of OS and cloud that drove me to the decision to return it.

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Virtualization solutions are one of the two ways to run Windows on a Mac which is what many people wish to do, so that's why you see the two mentioned in one breath, so to speak, so often. But you can run just about any OS that will run on an Intel system in a virtual machine (license permitting, of course). I've had at one time three different versions of Windows, one version of Linux and Solaris all set up in a virtualization application on a single Mac (not all running at once, of course, but it's quick to switch).

Regards.

To All.

Thank you very much. Not only answered my question(s) but provided several new to me considerations and just good information.

For what it's worth, I am returning it. I still have my Mac Pro running SL and I'll go back to that and breath a sigh of relief. I've had my excursion into the cloud and am satisfied that it is only complicating my life, not simplifying it, and causeing me great grief.
