How to install Windows 8 on Macbook Pro w/ Retina Display?

Hi,

I'm new to Macbook Pro w/ Retina Display. I'm a non-tech guy. Well, I'm familiar with Windows PCs but not familiar with Macbook Pros and OS X.

Please if you people can step me step by step that how to Install Windows 8 on Macbook Pro w/ Retina Display 15 inch.

Because recently, Apple released OS X Update 10.8.3 which includes support for Windows 8 in Boot Camp.

I will be very thankful. Please help!

Actually, I'm using HP Flash Drive (8 GB) which is going to be Formatted.

ISO File is being copied from WD HDD My Passport which is USB 3.0

So Don't you think the process must be fast?

Also, there aren't drivers for the retina display for Windows 8 yet so this still won't work right.

Current system req for Windows 8 drivers (Apple Support Software):

As you are copying the Windows installation image, this may take hours, but it shouldn't take that enormous amount of time. Now, relax and wait until the installer has been copied to your USB drive

The MacBook Pro with Retina display is included as a MacBook Pro, so it's compatible and there are drivers available for this Mac. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5634

Yeah, Bar is now forwarded. Its showing Downloading Windows Support Software now.

But, What to do now regarding this?

Ignore that comment. The MacBook Pro with Retina display is considered as another MacBook Pro and it's completely supported. Look at the link of my last comment

It sounds like a crime but this may help. FYI, It comes from Microsoft.

As the work is in progress. In the mean time, I want to ask that latter Can I remove the Windows 8 from the Macbook without harming my OS X?

You can remove Windows 8 from your Mac without any problem. Just start in OS X, open Boot Camp Assistant and follow the steps to remove Windows

Okay,

I'm at Create a Partition for Windows!

Please answer the following:

1. How much Size for Windows Partition is Sufficient?

2. Can Both the partition look into each other from the OSX and Windows?

3. When I'm n Windows 8, Can I use my WD HDD as a Storage Device while installing Applications (.exe like Games, MS Office, Softwares etc)? (Because Macbook Pro w/ Retina Display can't be upgraded once bought!)

1. At least, 30 GB, but probably you will need more space. If you need more space after creating the Windows volume, you can use Paragon Camptune X.

2. When you are in OS X, you will be able to access to the Windows partition. In Windows, after installing the Windows support software, you will be able to see the OS X partition.

3. In Windows, you may have problems if you want to install applications on the external disk. Apart from that, you will be able to store files on the external disk, only if it's formatted with FAT32, NTFS or exFAT

If I can install the Applications like Games such as: AC 3, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Far Cry etc.

If you want to install game on the external disk, it's probable that they won't work. Note that they must be installed on the Windows volume
