I can not seem to find the out going mail server that is suggested in trying to fix an out going mail problem?

When you look at your Mail account in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Account there is no server listed with the title "Outgoing Mail Server"?
What Mail service are you using?
Hotmail.com is that what you mean?
I go into setting>mail>account> then there isn't any part that mentions the words in going /out going server
Did you set up the account using the Microsoft Hotmail option in the setup area? I have a Hotmail account that I set up that way and have never had any problems with it.
I set it up last year on my iPad can't remember what I did ,but have only just started having this problem.Everything was going fine until about 8 weeks ago.How would I fine this out?
I would remove that account, then re-set it up using the Hotmail option. You shouldn't lose anything in the process.
So just go into settings>mail>account>delete account?
Do I need to actually get a whole new e mail name ? Change it all
Or do I reload my original one I just deleted?
You do not need to get a new email address. Just renter the account information you already have.
I Tried deleting then resetting up didnt work.
I Then tried a completely new e mail then tried to send one this didnt work.
it seems I can receive e mails just not send?
i Do have a gmail account as well should I see if I can send from that one ?
Can you log into your Hotmail account by just going in through a web browser?
Do this...
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap the account name you want to edit.
Scroll down to Outgoing Mail Server and tap SMTP smtp.live.com (or similar).
Under Primary Server tap smtp.live.com.
Make sure your username and password for your hotmail account is correct.
Authentication is Password
Server port is 587
Yes I can sign in through google but trying to send from there won't work either.
I did just successfully send a gmail from my gmail app?
I tried that twice but nothing comes up that resembles the words out going going mail server or smtp only delete account.
What do you mean by "sign in through Google?"

So when you go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tap the account name, the only thing you see is Delete?
