I can not seem to find the out going mail server that is suggested in trying to fix an out going mail problem?

Well instead of using the app at the bottom of my iPad 'mail' I went to windows live through google to sign in that way.
Well a few other ones mail,calendar,reminders then under that sync to something and another similar heading then delete account
Done all that maybe appointment at the apple store might be what is needed ,

That is your iCloud account information.
Sounds ike you have not even entered yoru Hotmail account to the Mail app.
How many accounts do you see under Accounts?
If you do have yrou Hotmail account under Accounts, do this...
Tap Settings.
Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Under Accounts, tap the Hotmail account (not iCloud) you are trying to use.
You will see the account name at top.
You will see Account with an On/Off button.
You will other account information such as Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server.
Sorry this must be so frustrating for you!
This is what I see when I follow those instructions:
Settings>accounts 3 accounts I tap hotmail>hotmail again at top with a box under email,password,description
Under that is mime on/off option if I chose on ,drop down Boxes appear with sign and the next one encrypt .
No where can I find those words in going/outgoing server.
Sorry it driving me nuts too!
