QuickLookSatellite CPU usage
Whenever my computer is just started or I am using the internet for a prolonged amount of time the fan in my computer sounds like it is working over time. I also noticed that the battery in my laptop dies after 2 hours of use.
I have been able to find the root of the problem by going into Activity Monitor and finding the program that is using 100% (even sometimes 200%) of my battery life and it is QuickLookSatellite.
QuickLook is supposed to be the program that gives me the ability to press the spacebar and view a document from the icon, so I don't know why it would be using up this much of my CPU.
Below is a screen shot of what the process looks like in my Activity Monitor...
When I use the inspector to find the details of the process this is what I come up with...

My question is...HOW DO I STOP THIS? I've looked at a similar discussion at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2148759?answerId=10160531022#10160531022&messageID=10160531#10160531?messa geID=10160531, but this is for an incomplete video file and I have no video files open. Please help
Thanks,
Keith
