MF Message Error Domain Error 1032 when trying to access my yahoo mail

This helped one user

Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar and delete your email account.

Then tap Settings > Safari > and Tap Clear History and Clear Cookies and Data.

Now tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar and re-enter your email account details.

This solution [alone] did not work for me. However, I am back up and running on my iPhone5 by using the instructions here.

Could well be a combo of the 2 solutions that did the trick!

I was having this issue as well with my Yahoo mail and tried everything. The one thing that worked for me was double clicking the home button, closing the Mail app, then reopening it. Suddenly all my emails synced. Anyone else having this problem should try this. :)

Tried this several times...not working on the iPad. This prob just started last night, not sure what's going on. I also keep getting a message that the server isn't available. I'm not having this issue on my phone at all, just my wifi only iPad. Grrr. Will keep trying other things...but so far, nada.

Thanks very much. Worked like a charm the first time. The secret is to follow the directions exactly.

Don't change anything from a laptop or PC - follow the directions and use the iphone to make the changes.

I'm getting that darn message now. Reading the instructions on how to fix it is like reading Greek to me.

I'm real new with iPhones where is the Home Button. I do NOT want to loose all my info like some others have. Why is their always problems with these darn devices.

I look forward to replies that are easy to understand.

i followed all the instructions and it worked great BUT I lost all typed notes I had been working on for work! A LOT OF NOTES! Is there a way to retrieve them? I really need them greatly for work!

Thank you for posting this solution. Was going crazy trying to figure out why my password was getting rejected. Did what you stated by quitting the Mail app and then all was right in the universe! Thank you!

I have tried all the suggestions above. None of them have worked. First, the issue was with my iPhone 5, but I could still get email on my iPad. Now, neither will work. I am getting the same messages on my IPad that I originally got on my iPhone. If anyone has any other suggestions, please advise. Or I guess it will be a trip to the Apple Store for me.

Good day can anyone please help me.. I didnt change my password but my mails wont update, asking for password then stating the mr message domain..1032. I tried to delete my account from the settings tab but when i reeneter my account it says that the server unavailable.. Helpp.. Thanks

Had the same error message and email password issues after activating new sim in new iPhone 4S. Tried all the above remedies but no joy. Eventually decided to access yahoo account on a laptop, added second verification to yahoo account (iPhone phone number) and then added app verification. Bingo! Can now access yahoo again through iPhone. Seems obvious now.....

RajaRani, thanks for your advice. I recently reset my Yahoo password on my computer (tied into AT&T) due to the recent theft of info. But then my IPhone would not work. Deleted the account and did what you said and after reentering the password a couple of times, the system kicked in and is now working. N John

Hi there, i have the same issue with a Gmail account. (Mac OS X 10.10)

Here is the solution:

Mail > preferences > Outgoing Mail Server > Edit Smtp server list > select your Mailserver (gmail) > Advanced tap > Authentication -- select none.

Save with OK > Close preferences

open it again >> preferences > Outgoing Mail Server > Edit Smtp server list > select your Mailserver (gmail) > Advanced tap > Authentication -- select password >> insert your data > save with ok
