Hello all,
I noticed today a black dot in the top left corner on my iphone's monitor. It seems like a dead pixel to me and it is a brand new.
I have it for 1 week shall I request for a replacement?

It is up to you to request an exchange under warranty and up to Apple if the iPhone will be exchanged under warranty. The standard warranty for the iPhone is one year from the purchase date.
Call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.
I just noticed that when the monitor is switched off (total black) that this dot appears on the screen as well. It seems like a dirt now but I cannot clean it, it doesn't go away... Is this normal?
Not normal. Have the phone looked at by a technician at at Apple Store. Make an appointment before going to the store.
It is not normal. Like Allan said you can take it to an Apple store if there is one close to you for evaluation of the spot and if you bought your iPhone 1 week ago, you are still within the return period of 15 days so they should replace if it cannot be serviced.
Shall I first reset it or not before I go there?
Resetting it will not normally help if it is a hardware issue but since you will lose no data, you might as well try it. Hold both the Power On and Home buttons together for about 15 seconds (ignoring the red slider) until the white Apple logo appears and then let go and wait for the iPhone to restart.
The phone has been bought from Media Markt, is there where I have to return it?

You can try returning it to Media Markt but I believe it will be less hassle if your return it to an Apple Store if you have one you can get to. You have to take your receipt. They should be able to give you a replacement. If there is not an Apple Store nearby, then take it to Media Markt and ask for a replacement iPhone.
Thank you for the reply, I have both Apple Store and Media Markt, so I will go to Apple Store since it's more convinient to me.
Finally I did the switch today and got a brand new iphone 5 (black) in perfect condition without having any problem or issue.
