How can I make non-breaking spaces? It's necessary for official documents. I can create Word document on PC with non-breaking space and open it on my iPad in Pages - then I have non-breaking space which can be coppied to another Pages document, but it's not the solution.

You could try creating a shortcut in settings / general / keyboard that inserts this character.
No, it doesn't work. Shortcut inserts something like a word or group of words (or symbols), but not into another word - it must be inserted after space. And then my non-breaking space is useless, because in front of it is simple space.
Although it would be very impractical anyway I tried to create a shortcut with non-breaking space and I found out that the space in shortcut works as a simple space, so it is useless. :-(
