Unable to verify exchange account informaiton on iPhone 5

Can someone share their knowledge? I upgraded my iPhone 4 to the 5 but can't sync my exchange server. I've been trying to add the work email account but keep getting "exchange account, unable to verify account information". I verified that everything is ok, email, password, server, user name, domain. I spoke to IT, they can't figure it out. I spoke to Apple support, they can't figure it out. I'm at a loss right now. Exchange still works perfectly on my iPhone 4 but I can't use it because the battery has lost it's charge life so I have to keep it plugged up to use it which is why I upgraded. This is frustrating......

Razmee209, thanks for tips. As it turns out the iPhone5 has a history of problems syncing with Exchange. There's no known solution, you just have to keep adding/deleting and trying to connect over and over. I was fed up, got on the phone with Verizon to return the phone and while I was on hold, wa-la, it worked! I haven't had any problems with it since then. You would think the Tier I helpdesk customer service team would be aware of this and be able to better explain it to customers. Oh well, all is well that ends well😝
