java 7 update 17 not working in safari

Hi i see different things work fr different ppl so let me post wat worked fr me. I disabled the two files in the plugin folder "JavaPlugin" and "npJavaPlugin" inside safari folder.

to disable go to properties and select security and u have to disable it from executing those 2 files. It worked fr me.

Would be helpful if that box said "Inactive Plugin Click here to activate."

The box states that "running this may be a security risk''.

Just wondering if it's a big risk or not. I always try to be carefull....

I needed Java to download Ford my sync update.

The my sync system is terrible, the only problem I have with a new 2013 fusion.

Typical microsoft program--put it out, fix it later, but it has now been out for quite awhile.

It works for about a week then will not recognize my phone.
