Was there a question in there somewhere?
Nodrogyarrum,
Ditto Badunit. Your post seems to be an incomplete statement. Can you restate your question if there is a question?

Excel?
I get the message more formulas than are supported by numbers when trying to import an excel spreadsheet from my PC laptop to an iPad 2 What does this mean ? Is my spreadsheet too big or is there a definite limit on the number of calculations you can have in a Numbers spreadsheet ?
Yes, apparently too many formulas. How many do you have?
Jerry
Yes. Using Excel
I don't think there is much you can do about this unless you can reduce the number of formulas in the Excel spreadsheet. Apparently there is a limit in the iPad version of Numbers. I don't know what that limit is, it does not seem to be a published specification.
Probably about 1,000 formulas
That isn't very many. Equivalent to 10 columns of formulas x 100 rows. Where did that number come from? I know a native Numbers iOS spreadsheet can have more than that, I have one that has many more.
