iMessage not working since iOS 6.1.3

As title iMessage not sending pictures since update. It will send text format,I have tried all I can via the forums with no success. iPhone won't send pictures over my 3G pr wifi connection so must be a problem with update. From reading the boards and online it seems a problem apple are willing to sweep under the carpet. I have turned off face time iMessage and rebooted. Checked my mobile number messed with router settings and reset network. Any ideas people ?

I am unable to get iMessage to work at all on my ipod touch 4s, ios 6.1.3.

Yes, I have turned off/on Messages, and, yes, I have reset the network settings--over and over and over, ad infinitum.

My "Send and Receive" data is correct. It activates just fine.

My network/wifi is fine--other devices are connected and running smoothly.

The Apple system status shows no problems in general, however, I cannot get it to send any messages.

Problem started a couple months ago and I could always get it to work with the off/on/reset trick. Not anymore. It's been 5 days and nothing is working.

Thoughts?

I've been having the same problem with my IPhone 4s for the last 5 months now, so I know exactly what you're going through. I did everything Apple suggested and for the most part the IPhone restore without backup worked and then a few days later the problem was there again. My problem is that Imessage, Facetime, and all phone notifications just stopped and then would start working on it's own. I took my phone to the Apple store and it turned out my phone was having Springboard stability issues which would cause my problems. I'm not saying that may be the case for you, but if I were you I would schedule a visit to the nearest Apple store and go to the Genius bar to have them look at your Ipod. Your Springboard could also be having stability issues.

not sure what carrier you are using but i use straighttalk and had same issue....here is how i resolved it

1. delete any profiles you have saved settings>general>profile delete if you see profile there if not go to step 2

2. turn on wifi (my internet was also not working)

3. open safari

4. type iapnupdatetfdata.straighttalk.com

5. download profile

6. turn off wifi

7. turn off phone

8. turn on phone

my internet and pictures worked after this, any user, any carrier, no issues....hope this is helpful!
