slow graphics on iMac running 10.8.3

I recently installed Paraview on a new iMac with 10.8.3 and the graphics performance is slower than expected. Running the same software with the same data file on my older macbook pro laptop (running 10.7) resulted in better 3D graphics interaction, even though the graphics card on the iMac is better on paper. My laptop has an AMD Radeon HD 6770M with 1GB memory while the imac has "faster" NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX with 2GB memory. Has anyone else had issues with 3D graphics while running mountain lion (10.8)?

Hi,

i have an iMac from 2012, and a Macbook Pro 13" from 2012 and, after upgrading to 10.8.3, i began to experience some poor graphic performance. When i switch between desktops it does it slower than before (wich it was excellent).

I have Mountain Lion 10.8.3 and i use my computer for graphic work (photoshop and similar), so it's a very annoying and notorius thing.

If anybody knows how to fix this, be my guest and thanks from now!
