iTunes freezes whenever I plug in my iPhone 4s

I made a post back in January to a plethora of responses. Just kidding, no one responded and Apple still has yet to fix this issue. I've done my fair amount of Google searching as well as searching on these forums to find that several people are having this problem. After upgrading to iTunes 11, it freezes every time I try to plug in my iPhone 4s- I don't even have automatic syncing on. I've tried everything- waiting, running in comptibility mode with Vista, Win 7, XP and etcettera, ending various processes and more. I'm at my wits end. Could someone offer me a solution?
