iOS 6.1.3 battery drainage

Last night I updated my iPhone 4S to a iOS 6.1.3 and now it drains my battery in extremely fast manner. As I started signing in to write this question from my iPhone I already lost 13% of my battery. I never had a problem with a battery and ive been using iphones since the first one. i miss my morning class because of it because my alarm clock didn't because my phone was dead. Please fix it or have no choice but buy Samsung GS4

Im thinking of getting the juice pack too but Im holding off until june to see if the iso 7 fixes it. This is my first ever iphone I have the 4s and Ive never had problems with the battery until 6.1.2 now 6.1.3 and I reset everything and it was good for 2 wks then today the battery started dying again while plugged in. My cord wore out too but thats cuz I had used it for 2yrs but Im seriously considering getting the juice pack charger if its not fixed asap

Same problems. iOS 6.1.3, white Verizon iPhone 5 bought Oct. 2012. Between 6.0 and 6.1.2, my iPhone 5 had the BEST battery life I had ever seen on a phone. I could get a full day with all iCloud features on, 6 Exchange accounts with Push, do about an hour of talk time and 4 of Wi-Fi browsing, 1 of LTE/3G. Just turned off a boatload of Location Services (including System Services) and took all accounts offline, and still draining 1% every 4 minutes or so. It could also be that I'm on LTE, but I have never seen it drop this fast.

My mom and uncle (both Verizon 4Ss one bought in Oct. 2011, other Mar 2013) and are experiencing the WORST battery life ever. 2 hours of talk, if they are lucky.

Apple, you NEED to get 6.1.4 or 6.2 whatever you are going to call it, bug free and ready to go. This is unacceptable.

me two. it's not a mobile phone anymore. If is stay more than 6 or 7h away from a usb port to charge...it drains to death..

I have an iPhone 5 - iOS6.1 (not even 2 mounths old..)

Apple developers..please be more carefull on the software you do.

The apps also are crashing a few times (face, gmail, wheather cube...) well i am sure this is an issue from the iOS and not all these apps..they started to drop all at the same time..

I was having the same problems as most of you until yesterday. My 3rd gen iPad and iphone 4s had shown significant battery drainage after upgrading to iOS 6.1.3. Yesterday, April 3, both devices began showing great battery life again. I was able to stop the battery drain before by getting rid of all iCloud syncing. I believe Apple did something on the server side with iCloud to eliminate the problem. Anyone else have a similar experience?

UPDATE:

it starts loosing energy again!!

only a few % between 11pm - 7 am

now from 88-40% from 8am-3pm...

without any phonecalls, emails, internetsurfing...WITHOUT USE!!!

and "push" is off!!

that means: if you leave the house in the morning you will not be able to use your phone in the evening without charging.

I'm sorry, but but do i really need to start writing postcards and do some signlafires again to communicate with freinds in this apple-dessert?

I am having a similar issue. update dto 6.1.3 and now the iPhone4 shuts down after about 2 hours and when i turn it back on i get the low battery display. If I plug a charger in if it recovers it shows 95 ro 100% charged and it works again. However yesterday it would not come out of th edead battery indication even on charger. then i unplugged it left it alone for a couple hours and then plugged it back in and it came alive, still died after a couple hours, WiFi on and off, BT on and off. Facetime off, iCloud off.

I was on a 10 minute call the other day and it went from 100 to 85% then 10 minutes later shut off.

The stgrange part is worth repeating, it shuts off and displays a dead battery, but when it gets plugged in and powers on 5 minutes later the battery is nearly or is fully charged.

Lol....I could care less about this. I know Apple will do a 6.1.4 to keep people happy, 6.1.4 may have bugs in that one also. Apple has lost it's touch, I'm not saying they don't care, but we are not getting the old Apple, the brand new shiny one....I see this battery problem playing out for a long time. I'm know for a fact that Apple will work on a new fix, maybe for the battery? Maybe for the lock screen pass code? Don't know don't care. Apple products use to be great! The firmware is getting like windows/Microsoft. My battery is draining....so I'm done typing.

Thank you Apple......not really.
