iOS 6.1.3 battery drainage

When will people realize that we are the guinea pigs for Apple. This battery drain problem is something they should have already addressed. Apple never admits to any problems with their OS or products. Turning off all of the services on the iphone doesn't even fix the problem. And even if it did, who wants a phone that you can't use any of the features that make it useful. They wouldn't even admit the iPad had a screen leakage problem. I tried 5 times to get an iPad without the problem. Gave up and got a refund. This battery problem has finally done it for me. I was going to switch from a PC to a Mac with my next computer purchase, but I'm tired of being the guinea pig "tester" for their "chinese junk". NO MORE APPLE FOR ME!!!!!!!!

Hey man! What's with the RACIAL SLUR???? If you are ****** off with Apple, then keep it within Apple products! You don't include irresponsible comments. If you read through the worthy posts in this thread, you will find good suggestions that would get your battery problems fixed. All it takes is just a few minutes of your time. If people like you would stop making unneccessary comments on the thread, then it would be much faster to find the solutions that everybody needs.

Been their done it, tried. Apple have to take responsibility and compensate when all alternatives have failed. As wit my phone, although they were fully aware what would happen with introduction of ios7, they have not taken ownership of problems caused by them. I now have a dead phone not fit for purpose. On the positive i now know who apple are. Best of luck. No doubt as previously this comment will be removed

I bought my Sprint iphone 4s in November 2012. For the first year, it worked normally, with no real problems....other than the vibrate function not being very strong. I do not use it every day, and often don't turn it on for days at a time. Recently I have had problems with the battery draining completely if I leave it in sleep mode overnight. Meaning of course, that I could not use it as an alarm. It is now draining at about 10% per hour......on standby. Also, at times, when it drains like this it becomes hot to the touch.

Currently, it is using ios 6.1.3, but I don't know whether I updated to that during the first year. I am wondering if this is a battery problem, software problem or hardware problem. The overheating makes me think hardware or shorting problem. The fact that it worked great for the first year makes me think battery problem. But a lot has been written about the ios problems, so I'm not sure. Suppose I could change battery and see if that helps. Looking for ideas. Thanks.

Same problem here. Even when I'm not using my phone, the battery percentage is dropping quickly.

me too ;( moreover sound function was broken!! There's no sound on speaker unless ringtone is only work.....poor me.

Charged my phone this morning unplugging at 6.30 by now 11.30 I have under 20% battery. This is hugely unacceptable this needs a fix TODAY!

I'm having the same problem. I had to charge my phone TWICE yesterday and I hardly used it.

My phone was also dead after significant drainage of battery since the update to iOS 6.1.3. It's so irritating me. What's wrong with you, apple? Fix it as soon as possible.

I had around 80% last night when I set my alarm before going to bed.

Woke up this morning and my phone was dead.

I completely missed my alarm.

A fix would be very much appreciated.

Same here. Never had any issues with my iPhone 5 battery life. Since the new update, has been draining in idle like crazy!

I have a 4S updated to 6.1.3 I dont have any of the issues that are being said very strange

Are you on Verizon or AT&T?
