Error while partitioning in boot camp

So I am trying to install windows to my MacBook Pro. I have a windows 7 disk and I go through the steps in boot camp, but once I get to choosing the partition and to actually installing, it goes a quarter way through and days it couldn't partition because an error occurred. Nothing else. Just that. Some assistance would be greatly appreciated gents.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

If you have a Time Machine backup (or any other method of OSX backup), then back up your OSX installation. Use Internet Recovery (Command+Opt+R) when connected via a wired connection to the Internet, erase your internal disk, restore from the TM backup, and try BCA and Windows installation again.

This usually indicates there is insufficient contiguous disk space to move files to create additional partition(s).

had same prob , tried everything on top of this topic but didnt help,

but this solution worked for me :

First, you have to shut down your Mac. Then, turn it on and immediately hold down Command + S to enter Single User Mode. Now, type in the following code into the command prompt interface:

/sbin/fsck -fy

Then, press Enter on your keyboard. That command checks and repairs inconsistencies in file systems that might prevent you from partitioning your drive. Once that has been completed, type in this code:

reboot

Hit Enter and your Mac will restart as usual.

Now, try running Boot Camp Assistant again to install Windows. You should not receive the previous error and will be able to run the installation without any hiccup.

hope it helps u guys vgl😉
