I am a Designer trying to get into Developing

Can you tell me how to do design?

That was a rhetorical question. I expect it would take me a long time to become a competent designer. I would probably want to start with some books and perhaps any required hardware and software.

Please don't go that route.

Without a good basic understanding of programming and analyis, you will waste a lot of your time spinning your wheels looking on Google for code that might help and/or asking a lot of needless questions here.

Do yourself and everyone else a big favor, get the basics down first.

Then learn Xcode and Objective-C.

A little time spent up front will save you an immeasurable amount of grief.

I get what you are saying. Again, was simply hoping there were resources not showing up on the first ten pages of google.

There are, such as extensive tutorial videos. Your first step is to buy a Mac. Then sign up for the developer program.

Why do you want to get into coding? The reason I ask is if you are more interested in making a living with apps why not invest that time and money into finding and hiring good programmers to get your ideas off the ground?

If you are actually into coding then just do it!

As a desinger you might want to look into using an HTML5, CSS3, PHP, Java for your app. You will still need to learn Objective-C at some point, but there is a lot on the web about going this route and you can use your own designs for "buttons" and what not a lot easyer. Just a thought.
