iPhone4 won't sync and hasn't since 10-9-12

My iPhone 4 has not 'sunk' since 10-9-12. I have looked and followed the adivce of several people online. I have updated my computer software to Snow Leopard, restored to factory settings, turned off the apps in the cloud and tried to sync, deleted my last sync (so now I have nothing), and anything other idea I found on the internet. My husband's phone, he has the 4s, and both of my boys iPads are working perfectly fine. This is so frustrating!! Help!

Since it doesn't seem to be able to back up you could try going back to Preferences>Devices and deleting your other backups to see if an existing corrupt backup is preventing it. But this is really tough to diagnose and fix without a more specific error message ("an error occured" doesn't give you much to go on).


You may have to make an appointment with the Genius bar at a nearby Apple store and take both your iPad and your computer in to have them take a look at things to see if they can find anything wrong.
