I have this iPod 4, and when i changed my password i didn't remember what i was typing in so i try every password i know until this notice appears "iPod is disabled, connect to itunes" and i cannot do anything, after a few days then i remember the password i typed in, so is there any way i can recover my ipod without erasing the content and just simply unlock it?

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased. That is the only way.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

is there anyway i do it without erasing the content? cause I remembered the passcode
Only if:
- you wait out the time period if one is specified, or
- If if when you connect the iPod to your computer iTunes asks yu to enter a pascode and you can do that.
