The External Instrument's audio is coming up on another channel?

OK,

I have a MOTU 128 MIDI interface and MOTU 828 mk3 audio interface.

I have checked numerous times that my 3 keyboards are routed correctly.

...all the MIDI ins/outs are correct and the keyboards audio routed to the mk3 is correct.

Now, in Logic I want to use each keyboard as an external instrument (EI).

When I create a new (EI) lets says my Alesis micron, its input is 1-2.

Next (EI), Juno-D. Its channel is 3-4.

If I play something and make a little loop on the Alesis' channel I can hear what I did...so thats good.

But if I mute that track (the Alesis), I still can hear what I just recorded.

Well,..the audio is coming in on the Juno-d's channel 3-4.

Its the same for when I create my next (EI). The motif. Its channel is 5-6.

If I play something from the Juno-d, record and loop. I can hear it...but if I mute Juno-d's channel, its coming in on Motifs 5-6.

Something in Logic is routing an EI instrument into the next ascending channel

Whats wrong?

Thanks

Ok, well I still cant open clockworks. I dont know if its necessary to even have it at this point.

But when I play my EI (Motif), its like if I played hard or hit chords, tons and tons of notes are sustained.

I cant really figure this out.

Settings>MIDI>chase...

I checked (selected) aftertouch and polyphonic aftertouch. That didnt work....and unchecked it for that matter..

The routing is correct.

Buffer size is all good.

Not sure where this problem lies now.

I also tried resetting the sustain messaages Preferences>MIDI>Reset Messages...

Nothing came from that.

Its a Motif XS8. It is connected to MOTU MIDI interface via MIDI, not USB.

It is connected "handshake" style.

I really cant figure this out.

I just dont know what it is.

I play the motif as an External Instruement in Logic, and while im playing notes are just going biserk and there is this LOW HUM like...something is getting looped back somewhere.

The External Instrument's audio is coming up on another channel?
