Simply put, you said I misunderstood a post that you selectively quoted, leaving out the second half of the post which clearly states his point isn't just Apple is a hardware company. He is saying because they are a hardware company, they aren't going to write software to run OSX in VMWare on a non-Apple platform. In other words, he doesn't understand how VMWare works.

I wish you would not try to tell me what I know and do not know. I have used VMware (first about 10 years ago). At work, most of the systems I develop software for, run on virtual machines or hardware para-vitalization (Linux, Windows, Solaris (SPARC & X64), AIX). I really do understand what a virtual machine is. I know people that work for VMware (I even once attended a VMware picnic as a guest, and we talked "Shop").
