There is only an option to change authentication and no option to have no authentication which my mail needs to send emails...
are you saying your mail server (smtp) doesnt require a password to send mail? - if thats true have you tried leaving the password field on your Ipad email settings blank?
Yes, tried that, but the settings are still set to password authentication so it's blocking sending mails as it's looking for a password.
interesting- on my iPhone ( i havent checked my iPad) - under the smtp server - the pssword is listed as being optional - could it be that your smtp server really requires a password?
otherwise a call to Apple support might be in order
