Iphone 4S bluetooth and wifi stop working after software update to 6.1.3

Hi

Since i have updated my software version of IPHONE 4S to 6.1.3 following functions stopped working :

1. WiFi (even i am putting correct WPA key still says incorrect pass key, not connecting at all to Wifi.

2. Bluetooth is not working as well, it was working till yesterday with my car bluetooth device and now it cant pair with device.

since i have updated the software it seemd like my Iphone has lost all the passwords and keys stored in its memory.

Bluetooth symbol near battery only appears when you are in bluetooth option.

Wifi doesnt connect automatically to network which are stored in my phone.

When will Apple fix this issue as it is very annoying and hard to work with.

I am disappointed that apple hasnt tested there new release properly, why everytime a new release fix one bub but create 10 others.

Please update me on if there is any solution available apart from freezer 🙂

Regards,

A

I have the same problem. Everything was fine in my 4s until 6.1.3 update. Then the wifi and bluetooth stopped working.

I had to purchase a new phone through apple as it was a hardware fault. Unfortunately apple changed the policies of purchasing apple care after I bought my phone so I had to pay $200 for a new phone. I originally had 1 year after purchase to buy apple car but now you have 30 or 90 days (not sure which) to now purchase. Very disappointed with apple.

This will be the last iphone i buy!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the second phone, of which a update iOS caused the failure of connectivity to device's

firstly the iphone 3gs updated and loss of wi fi. said the phone was broken. software. as i flashed back to earlier version of iOS and( guess whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat !!!) wi fi worked.

Now iphone 4s originally able to pair blu tooth devices. now with iOS 7.2 will not recognize a single bluetooth device... Good work apple coders for the firmware. which obviously the phone's now broken

RajaRant. is not hardware ********. so spend more on apple, thannks for your opionion, which is standard response from the employee's at the apple store.

I think restore fixes for a short time, the interface firmware causes the issue.

Good reason why apple has lost considerable market share 😀" hello help desk" your apple device is malfunctioning..... bring it in now and we will give you a samsung galaxy...k

thanks.

mind you i like iphone but time to test the new opposition.

I have the same problem right after upgrading to iOS 7.0.3

Went to genius bar today, well, there was no genius, all they could do was to re-install firmware and hardware, which I had done a couple of times.

I wanted them to downgrade the OS, but they did not offer downgrading and insisted my antenna was bad. They said I could pay USD$199 to replace them because my phone is not under wrantty anymore. Bluetooh and wireless antenna are on the same chip, if wireless fails, bluetooth won't work.

I don't believe them, I simply think iOS 7.0.3 can not support wireless hardware of some model of 4S.

FYI. we have 3 4s which were all updatyed to 7.1 recently. All stopped recognizing BT devices. Spent 2 hrs with support, only to have them tell me that I need to update the firmware on all my BT devices. Completely unacceptable. All worked fine until the latest update. I see this as a corporation, forcing the hand of the consumer, that spends hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, to upgrade their devices, and phones, and this is unacceptable!
