move data from nokia 6700 to iphone 4 - nokia has larger simm
My wife has given me her old iPhone 4 - I am trying to clean her from it and put me on it.
I feel stuck. My Nokia phone (6700) uses a larger SIMM card than the iPhone 4, so I can't just put the SIMM into the iPhone. I have a new SIMM of the right size for the iPhone but of course it has no data yet.
I have Backups of the Nokia in Nokia NBF language stored on the 8Gbs SD card in the phone and on my MacBook Pro but nothing will read them.
I downloaded the Windows Phone app (Nokia told me that PC Suite will not work on a Mac (I knew this already) but Windows Phone app would, and that this app would add my Nokia to its Device list and then I would be able to do all that I wished. It doesn't recognise this Nokia or the other Nokia that I used (3120) concurrently.
What can I do?
Apart from adding all the Contacts to my Address book ( I have hundreds) when my Address book on my MacBook is pertinent to email and website usage not phone - I don't want all the MacBook contacts in my iPhone, I want the phone numbers.
Then there are all the Texts or SMS messages (I keep them as reference) and the Calendar entries.
While I have used iSync and iCal for years, I know for sure that the Nokia Calendar contains entries that are not in the iCal calendars.
Any help or guidance with this complex situation would be wonderful.
iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.3
