Macbook shipping from China? When will it get here?

Doesn't FedEx give you an estimated delivery date if you track your package?

I ordered on Tuesday, May 23rd. Like yours, mine shipped today (May 24th) from China. My estimated delivery date is Friday, May 26th. I live in the Eastern United States.

Mine shipped from the same place on Sunday, May 21, 2006
and was signed for on Tuesday, May 23, 2006...

I ordered mine (CTO Blackbook w/ 1g ram) on Saturday night, order status page said shipped on 5/24 delivery by 5/30 via BAX Global PTE LTD and included a tracking #. Went to BAX website, and can't seem to track it (no records found).

Anyone else know about this company? FedEx seems to be good at tracking, but I don't know this one. (I'm in Japan)

I ordered mine on Monday for 2-day shipping to DC -- It shipped on the 24th with a delivery date of the 26th (Friday). This morning, it was bumped to the 31st. Not good.

I called FedEx and was transferred to the IPD department (International Priority Direct: 8000-455-4588). She said that while the website tracking says it will be delivered on May 31 (Wednesday), her system shows it will be delivered on May 30 (Tuesday). If there wasn't a Federal holiday on Monday, I would have it then. Anyone in the United States who had their date bumped like mine may want to call the number above (with your tracking number handy) to get a more accurate delivery date.

Me too. I so wanted it here before the weekend :o( I was very disappointed when I saw it had been bumped this am!

Mine took a little less than a week - 6 full days, 4 business days. I ordered it CTO - configured to order which means they had to swap out the 512MB or RAM and replace it with 2G-Ram then replace the 60G internal hard drive with a 120G hard drive, package up the addons: a dialup modem USB modem cable and DVI to VGA, DVI to DVI cables. I ordered it at 7:39am on May 16th and the promised delivery date was June 2nd. It's not even June yet! I did not order quick or overnight shipping - just regular Apple free FedEx shipping from China. Apple was fast!

Ordered 21st, CTO with 100GB and 1GB RAM (white), shipped like others the 24th, Fed Ex says it "missed pickup" and is promising delivery June 1. I paid the $18 for express shipping so I sort of expect Fed Ex to do better than this (they usually do), and hopefully the Web site is just not being updated in a timely fashion. We'll see!

Mine shipped yesterday and I got the missed pickup as well. FedEx is saying that I won't receive it until the 31st. I'm not sure how that works out to the 2 day shipping that I paid for.

After yesterday's delay's in China, I'd given up hope of getting it before the weekend, BUT, it does seem to have made it to the local depot...

I'm olding my breath it will come today - fingers crossed!

Although mine was delayed in China on Wednesday (24th) and rescheduled for delivery on the 31st, it arrived at the FedEx location in Washington, DC this morning. I called and they said it would be delivered today!

My MB was on the same delay (no delivery until the 31st) but something lit a fire under its * and now it is on the truck for delivery this mornig! Maybe it will be the same case for you.

If you have done free shipping it should take 7 days, 7 business days. It has to go through customs and that is where it takes more time!
