That has got to be the most deliberately unkind, hurtful post I've read in a long time. Hurtful both to the original poster and to a woman who may well be being harrassed by someone. You don't know the situation and yet jump to the conclusion that, somehow, the woman is being deceitful. This does not bode well for the future of any of your relationships.

Lighten up and have a sense of humor. Take your own advice.

I have a sense of humor. It doesn't require that I be cruel. Claiming your were just trying to be funny is also not an justification for cruelty.

Messages on an iPhone can be one of two types.

SMS text messages go to the phone number. Blocking the senders phone number should prevent rpthe receipt of text messages,

iMessages go to the recipients email address. Changing the email address for IMessages should prevent those messages from coming through.

There is also the possible need to have the phone number changed on your device. Perhaps AT&amp;T can help with this.

I have an easy solution:

Have the girlfriend call the police and tell them she is being harrassed online and she would like to file an order of protection.

You won't need to do anything else after that if the ex has any brains whatsoever.
