Since I upgraded my phone to ios 6.1.2, the phone becomes slow on opening applications. Another issue is whenever the signal is searching, the phone is freezing for a moment until the signal becomes stable. This was not an issue on ios 5.1.1.
This is bad..
iPhone 5, iOS 6.1, The country is in the Philippines.
Then maybe the upgrade to 6.1.3 will fix the problem.
I read the change log of ios 6.1.3. There is no fix for it?
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).
There would be nothing in the change log for 6.1.3 about speeding up the device as 6.1.2 does not slow the device down.
Already erase and reset, reset all settings, reset networks after restore. Still don't work. I believe it is ios issue.
If all basic troubleshooting has been done (including a restore as new) and the problem continues, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.
I cannot do that since the phone is already out of warranty and I heard that factory unlocked phones are not covered by apple care?
That is the completely incorrect. Whomever told you that is ignorant.

It won't matter unless the phone is Jailbroke, then they will not assist you.
It is NOT jailbroken. I just don't want to take the same mistakes again from ios 5.1. Alright..
I went to apple store yesterday and they said they DON'T support iphones. What the?! Powermac store.
Go to an actual Apple store, not a reseller.
